The newly formed GARBC meets at Belden Avenue Baptist Church in Chicago in 1932.
Paul Jackson was national representative of the GARBC from 1960 to 1969. During his ministry he wrote a well-known brochure, “Benefits Provided for You by the GARBC.” In it he answered the question “Why affiliate with the GARBC?”
In my short time as interim national representative, I have been asking and answering similar questions in my ministry presentations:
• Why Regular Baptist Ministries?
• What is the value of national and international associations of Baptist churches?
• Is Regular Baptist Ministries out of place, an anachronism from an earlier day?
• What benefits are available to fellowshipping churches?
Why Regular Baptist Ministries? Why the GARBC? Because Biblical association with other churches provides encouragement, accountability, the opportunity to receive ministry assistance, and the opportunity to assist other churches.
