Does this sound familiar to you? You heard about a ministry initiative or program that you’d like to implement in your student ministry, but you don’t have the right people/money/attendance/facility/equipment (list your obstacle here). Add to this problem that great things always seem to be happening at the church down the road—you know, the church with the dynamic staff, big budget, all-star volunteers, great facility . . . the list goes on.

It seems that there’s always something stacked against you in student ministry. Sometimes it’s material resources you don’t have. Sometimes your facilities are working against you, or your church’s location, or a disagreeable pastoral staff, or church leaders who ask you to do a lot with a little.
