Relevance is “the condition of being relevant, or connected with the matter at hand.” Relevance to our age is not likeness to our culture’s thinking, worldview, or behaviors.
If we love Christ, we will speak gladly of Him. If we know, trust, and follow Christ, we will—by His grace—walk worthy of Him. By our lives and witness, we will display our love for Christ, and thus be relevant to all people near and far.
Are you, an individual believer, relevant to the world? Is your church relevant to our lost age? Is our fellowship of churches relevant to our lost culture?
Yes, for no one is more relevant than a believer, and nothing is more relevant than a church or an association that lives in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.
