At the end of hearing challenges about going into missions, both my husband, Hubert, and I answered, “Here am I, Lord. Send me.” Then as God made His will clear that we were to go, we knew we were not sufficient for the task.
We had moments of wondering what dangers and challenges lay ahead. What would it be like to move far away from friends and family?
But God lovingly spoke through His Word, reminding us that He was eager to show us His path for us, as well as His victories.
By watching His power and working, we would know Him better and grow in our faith in Him. With His commission in Matthew 28 to go and make disciples, He promised, “I am with you always.” We could trust God to take care of us and to accomplish His work.
