At a Baptist church in Village 73 in Guyana, South America, a collage-like poster shows the church’s yearly history of Vacation Bible School dating back to 2002. Chris and Deb Hindal were captivated by this display when they visited the church, because it is evidence that Gospel Literature Services is providing a valuable service to national churches like this one.
Gospel Literature Services, part of GARBC International Ministries, sends Biblically sound literature to missionaries of independent Baptist mission agencies and the churches they have established. The free resources, including Regular Baptist Press curriculum, are sent around the globe, with the bulk of countries being English-speaking. Chris Hindal is director of GARBC International Ministries. He and his wife, Deb, made a three-week sweep through Guyana and three Caribbean countries to meet pastors who receive materials from GLS, assess their churches’ curriculum needs, and learn the best way to assist them with resources.
