The 2023 GARBC Conference took place June 26–29 on the campus of Corban University in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
All in attendance shared profound appreciation for the ministry of the Word, a prominent focus of the conference.
Some sermonic zingers of the week:
• “Many churches have ceased growing because we, the spiritual leaders of our churches, have ceased growing.”
• “Churches should not collect believers but train believers and leaders and send them out.”
• “You can never be too small for God to use but can be too big for God to use.”
• “Godliness is devotion to God that results in attitudes and actions that are pleasing to God.”
• “Many have the heart for ministry but not the stomach.”
• “Movements begin not with the masses but with a man or two. God’s method has always been men, not methods.”
• “Credentials may get you in the front door; character will keep you in the room.”
Each deserves an exclamation point.
