My snail-mail box and e-mail inbox are inundated on a weekly basis from conference organizers and eager publishers who want to show me how to become a more effective CEO of my church. They promise to increase church attendance, remake my image, transform me into a more “powerful” leader, modernize my church’s facilities, and even teach me how to become more fashionably hip.
While all of these “methods” may promise expedient results, they all fail to emulate the leadership/shepherding example of our Savior, the Head of the church.
