Can you trust God?
As children in Sunday School, we would shout a resounding yes to that question. Even as adults walking with the Lord, surely we know the correct answer. But how would we answer when the waves crash against our lives and God rearranges a few circumstances?
This is the question I found myself considering for the last year. My late wife of twenty-two years, Robyn, developed cancer for a second time and died in 2023. At that time, my son was nine years old, and my daughter was six. Knowing that my children just lost their mother and everything would now depend on me is a heavy weight. But God has promised to never leave or forsake me. How would He carry out that promise in the lives of my children and me?
