FORT BRAGG, N.C.—Congratulations to Maj. Randy Curry on his graduation from the U.S. Army Chaplain Center and School, where he completed the Chaplain Captain Career Course and the Brigade Functional Course. While at the Chaplain School, located at Fort Jackson, S.C., he was also promoted to major.

Curry, a chaplain with Regular Baptist Chaplaincy Ministries, was deployed to Afghanistan from February 2011 to February 2012. Since Jan. 15 he has been serving with the 18th Fires Brigade, a field artillery unit of the 82nd Airborne Division, at Fort Bragg, N.C. The 18th Fires Brigade has an incredible history of combat deployments dating back to its participation in World War II and continuing through the current war on terror.

Randy and Kezia Curry have had exceptional ministry opportunities in Randy’s previous duty assignments. Various commanders have consistently testified to their positive, exciting ministry to the soldiers and command staff as well as outstanding support to the soldiers’ family members.

Chaplain John Murdoch, director of Regular Baptist Chaplaincy Ministries, says, “Congratulations upon your graduation and promotion, and be assured of our prayers as you continue to minister for God and country.”
