California Churches Celebrate Christmas

VACAVILLE, Calif.—How does a state representative of Regular Baptist churches cover California’s 1,040 north-to-south miles to minister to churches? To foster fellowship among the California churches, Rev. Ron and Sally Schrock hosted three Christmas dinners in various parts of the state. Ron has been state representative of the California Association of Regular Baptist Churches since 2008.

Early in December, the Schrocks dined with southern California churches in Santa Ana, then traveled to Yuba City to meet with northern and central California churches. Later in December, the Schrocks shared Christmas dinner with Bay area churches in Newark, Calif. Participants enjoyed various activities including a white elephant gift exchange and the sharing of Christmas memories, poems, and illustrations.

Representative Ron Schrock arranges these events to not only bring pastors, missionaries,  and leaders in Regular Baptist churches together, but to include in these times of fellowship churches and ministries outside the Regular Baptist association who are of like faith and practice.
